Emma had to clench her teeth together tight to avoid screaming because she was probably never going to get used to him doing that (there was also always that thought in the back of her mind, the one that wondered what would happen if anyone ever accidentally inhaled Delsin-smoke; she was pretty sure she'd rather not know). Weak with relief, she gripped the front of his shirt and laid her head briefly against his shoulder before she straightened and swiped angrily at the tears she hadn't realized had gathered in her eyes.
"Never ever ever do that again," she half-snapped with a watery sniffle. "I thought you were dead, you idiot. You tell me what the hell happened, you're the one passed out in the park."
